Other Projects

This part of the website is dedicated to the other sailing projects that I am also currently involved in as well as those that I am working towards in the future.

'Team Baltic' is a youth team set up by my founding sponsors Baltic Wharf Boatyard in Totnes.

Our 2010 programme included the J Cup and the J80 European's in Lake Garda.

As helm I run the boat on and off the water which has been a fantastic experience for me. We are extremely grateful to Baltic Wharf for providing this opportunity and hopefully we can pay them back as a team with some fantastic results this season.

The Figaro Circuit is the most competitive offshore circuit in the world. The one design rule means performance comes down to the skill of the skipper not the size of a teams budget. The circuit provides a great entry for any aspiring offshore sailor and is definitely the focus of my efforts in a racing perspective.

Although a predominately French dominated circuit, the UK are starting to see the value in its level of competition, and the circuit is being recognised more and more as the place to hone your offshore skills in a ruthlessly competitive environment.

Plans are already underway to get a project off the ground after my adventures of 2010 are over so hopefully you will see me on 'La Solitaire' start line soon!
