Henry is a very ambitious and driven young man. He is a talented yachtsman. Achieving his RYA Yachtmasters certificate at such a young age demonstrates his desire and his ability to succeed.

The Round Britain project is the perfect platform for Henry to demonstrate his competence in a practical way. I have sailed around the British Isles three times and know that the two thousand mile course will be not only be a test of his ability as a yachtsman but also of his determination and endurance.

Henry has already shown maturity beyond his years by putting this project together and I have no doubt that he will achieve great things in the future.

I was privileged to be asked to get involved in helping Henry prepare physically for his trip!

We highlighted Henry's weak points, most notably his back from his rugby playing days, and worked to strengthen these. We also worked on general strength training as well as ways to maintain cardiovascular fitness throughout the trip to ensure he can take on the Three Peaks towards the end of his journey.

We’re delighted to support Henry’s project, especially as he has become something of an inspiration to our 6 year old son Ryan. We realised this during a family conversation on a sailing trip that went something like this:

Dad: “You've been a bit daft today Ryan”

Ryan: “Well you’re daft sometimes too”

Dad: “True but everyone’s daft sometimes”

Ryan: “Everyone but Henry Bomby…”
